Club 49 members and all passengers on the same reservation can check bags for free*. Club 49 membership includes two bags for free when traveling to or from Alaska on Alaska Airlines or three bags for free when traveling entirely within the state of Alaska on Alaska Airlines.

This update reflects our commitment to supporting local communities and making travel more accessible across the state. Additionally, Club 49 members can continue to take advantage of the Freight for Less benefit. Club 49 is a free and exclusive benefits program available to all Alaska residents.
